It is not enough to know the basics of the German language. If you plan to stay or live in Germany for a longer period of time, you should have reached at least level B1. With our German teachers, however, there is no need to limit your ambitions! Our teachers are guided by the Common Framework of Reference for Foreign Languages. This divides the language level into six levels. Each of these levels can be reached with Sprachschule Aktiv in Karlsruhe.

You determine the location of the private course
You have various options when it comes to the location of the lessons. You can come to our rooms in Karlsruhe and meet your teacher there.
Many of our course participants prefer to have lessons at home. In your own four walls you feel comfortable and can enjoy the lessons.
A third option is private German lessons via the Internet. All you need is a computer, a microphone, a webcam and an internet connection. You log into the virtual classroom and meet your teacher there.

With group lessons, you always make a compromise. The lessons are geared to the wishes of the majority and in terms of speed, to the slowest course participant. With private lessons, you do not have a classmate with whom you have to share the teacher’s attention. You can make rapid progress because the teacher concentrates completely on you.
