German intensive courses from A1 to C2
Our teachers base their German courses on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. If you have only recently moved to Germany and hardly speak any German, start with the beginners’ course. Many of our participants already have basic knowledge of the language, and some are more advanced. If this is the case for you, start with a course at the A2 level or higher. The C1 and C2 courses are only suitable for you if you already know German well.

The size of a class can greatly impact the learning progress. To learn a language, it is important that you interact with it on a daily basis. In a small group, you often have a greater opportunity to practise the language. In addition, there is less risk of your looking to a fellow student as a language model and imitating their errors in pronunciation.
The lessons at Sprachschule Aktiv are practice-oriented. While knowledge of grammar is important, this comes almost naturally as you interact daily with the language, much in the way you learned your first language. Very quickly you will develop a feeling for the language so that you will soon be speaking like a native German speaker.

You can also take language exams as part of the German Intensive Course. The TestDaF and telc exams are required if you want to study at a German university. In addition, you can prove that you have a sound knowledge of the language, which opens the door to many professions.
The test preparation is based on original exam papers used under real exam conditions. That way, you know exactly what to expect and have nothing to worry about when you arrive at the day of your test.
