At the B2 level, you can converse well in German with other people and hold empathetic conversations. For the preparation course, you need level B1. You will learn more expressions and words during the course so that you reach level B2.<\/p>

If your language skills are not yet sufficient, you will have to attend other courses first. These are not tailored to nurses, but you will achieve the language skills you need to continue your studies. Many of our course participants do not know their current level. The exam preparation takes place as an intensive course which lasts one month. You learn in small groups so that each participant has frequent opportunities to speak German. The teacher repeatedly incorporates role-plays. This allows you to practise everyday conversations with patients and doctors. At the same time, the teacher teaches you specialist vocabulary. At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate. You will need this when you apply for recognition as a nurse.<\/p>\n

If you want to apply for recognition as a nurse in the state of Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg, register with the State Examination Office for Health Professions. The website will tell you which documents you need. Among other things, you must submit the certificate from Sprachschule Aktiv in Karlsruhe.
